Sailing from Brisbane to Perth

I have been sent these photos from someone very close to me who has nearly completed sailing from Brisbane to Perth around the 'Top End' of Australia. These are a few images of what they saw and I thought I would share with you.

Apparently there were an amazing amount of sea snakes in some parts of the West Coast seas and those waves were not the largest...but as for that sunset, I think it is just stunning.

I'm so jealous, what an experience the water off the coast here is dark and freezing cold even in summer :)

Beautiful photos...but I would be scared to death in a boat with waves that high! I have to take dramamine cause I get sea sick on boats. We had a Grady White 22' fishing boat (we didn't fish though) and boated on the Chesapeake Bay for two years. We only went out on calm days.
