Cleveland Markets

I thought I would sneak down to the Cleveland Markets without telling you to see what it was all about. I set up my first market stall there and had a ton of fun. I was selling soaps, vintage fabric drawstring bags and vintage fabric cushions. Cushions will now be available in my ETSY store, as I found with inserts they are too bulky to take to the markets. Great for amazing displays but in general a source of a lot of mumbled mutterings from moi!

The main street is closed off in Cleveland on Sundays and market vendors line the street. It's partly a Farmers Market and partly craft. These markets have endured a chequered history but are slowly being brought back to life, especially with the lead up to Christmas.

The vendor beside me was Karen, a first timer as well and we had a lot of laughs in between chatting to our lovely customers. The gorgeous Karen from  Writbitz  has just started her blog today and I am sure this Brissy girl would love you to check her out. She is a writer and is following her dream of writing her first novel. At the markets she sells packs of 20 cards with sayings and quotes in different genres- some of them are just hilarious.

We will both be at the Cleveland Markets, on the beautiful Bayside next Sunday so if you are around we would love to see you.

Go Pam!
I really like that first cushion. How much? Is it in your Etsy store? It would look lovely on my green couch.

Love your cushions and hope you had a successful day selling them and your soaps. Sadly a little too far for me to come!
Take care. Nickyx

Hi Pam, those markets are so sweet. I went there a few years ago as my Mum lives in Cleveland. I remember buying a gorgeous royal blue crocheted baby blanket!! I'll definitely pop by again when I visit her and in the meantime will let her know you're there. Pruxxx
