A Lovely Touch

I received this surprise package this morning from my blogging friend Shane from Roses Lace and Brocante in Auckland, New Zealand.

I met Shane while I was in Auckland and we attended the Vintage Textile Fair together. We had a lovely time, enjoyed each other's company and shopped of course!

I have met a few beautiful bloggers in 'real life' and I don't know about you but when I met them I felt I had known them for ages, which meant an instant and relaxed friendship. Have you had the same feeling?

I would like to say thanks to all of you bloggers out there - and the non bloggers of course- who take the time to look at my images and read some short words. It means a lot to me when I read your comments. Thank you so much.

Woooo! That shop looks like it was lots of fun. Did you buy anything from there, or is that just a silly question?

I too have found that the people I blog with, when I meet them in person, it's like meeting old friends.

There's something special about blogging friends....... And I'm glad I met YOU!

Happiest of days.............

Hi Pam, that was so sweet of Shane to send you the parcel :)

I love your new blog header, by the way.

I haven't actually met any bloggers in real life yet but I have struck up a good friendship with a lovely Aussie lady and I am positive that we will meet sooner rather than later...she is on the Gold Coast so when we do get over that way, will have to look yopu up also!

Hey Pam, How lovely of your friend. And don't forget sometimes you meet bloggers and find out that you had already met them as has happened with you and I and several other of my blogging buddies. Which reminds me we shouldn't let too much time go between coffees haha, hope you are having fun, cheers Katherine

Hi Pam
It was lovely meeting up with you even for such a short time - next time we'll plan a real day together!
Hope you enjoy the book - with your passion for roses I thought it had your name all over it!
I agree bloggers are lovely people and especially when we have a common interest.
Take care
big hugs from across the pond
