I picked up this gorgeous vintage mirror which I am now hanging in the bathroom as is. No painting required on this one, and under $5.00!
Here is another one that I probably will not paint. It's made in the USA and a sort of very hard plastic. It looks great in it's little spot next to the hallway... for the time being anyway!
My passion fruit vine is thriving as it weaves it's tendrils through an old white iron gate that I purchased from Katherine at the theoldboathouse. I have only green passion fruit on mine, nothing like Simone's lusciousness from Beach Vintage.
I have been playing with doilys and plaster for a bit now. Anyone would think I was reverting back to my childhood.....or going mad, but I am having so much fun with this messy stuff. I was inspired from here.
I wonder what this week will bring!

I can't believe you bought that gorgeous old mirror for less than five dollars! I love those chains that the mirror is hung from. I have an old mirror that was my great grandma's and it has one of those chains.
The doilies and plaster looks interesting. Whatcha gonna do with them? You've been having fun, that's for sure. x
Great post Pam. Love the mirror, love the hallway frame and love seeing beautiful doilies being upcycyled.

Gorgeous $5 mirror, lucky you. I also love your white iron gate. How I wish there were places in Melbourne who sold things like that. If there is and anyone knows about them, please tell me. Please. I'm also wanting to know what you are going to do with your plaster doilies.
Have a great week.
