Committed to using up whatever fabric I already have these days, I made a few blue and white cushions for the lounge. For the passionate sailor in the family, I used a vintage tablecloth for the cushion with the sailing ship the 'Endeavour'. I was secretly surprised how well it blends in amongst all the florals around here.
The cushion with the gorgeous embroidered daisies and stitched blue ribbon, is upcycled from a vintage supper cloth. It had seen better days, so I cut up around the holes to get the best bits!

I make my cushions with a zip at the bottom so I am able to mix and match fabrics, both on the front and the back. Accent colours can be mixed up in an instant by simply turning the cushions to the other side. I have so much fun with this!!
These roses have lasted nearly a whole week! I bought them at the markets last Sunday and they have the most gorgeous scent.
Have a fabulous weekend.

Beautiful photos..... blue and white remains one of my favorite color combinations.
But I'm glad there are so many to enjoy in our beautiful world.

You are right off the pages of my favorite magazine....lovely pillows and the way you take pictures is fabulous!
All gorgeous Pam, wonderful upcycling. Those last pink roses in the post are the most beautiful shade of pink I have every seen.
The Endeavour looks fabulous!
Gorgeous!
Have a lovely weekend, Tam x
Gorgeous roses and I love your re-cycled cushions esp. the yellow and blue.
Pam I love your cushions! and those roses are gorgeous too :)
That blue and white fabric is so beautiful, Pam. And what a great idea to use vintage tableclothes and turn them into cushion covers! All of your cushion covers are beautiful.
You know, I bid on one of your cushions on Ebay a while back, but I didn't win it. Well at least I don't think I did. I never got an update from Ebay about it.
Oh well, I really should keep my eye out in your shop to see if something else comes along that I have to have. xx
Your roses are still breathtaking! I LOVE those cushions, and I, like you by the sound of it, have a stash of fabrics that should be used before I buy more.... so you have inspired me with the four pieces of fabric patched together! The cushions all look amazing (the blue and white is gorgeous!) and the Endeavour is perfect amongst those flowers!!!! I pledge to follow your example and make something with my vintage linen patched together.... I wonder what it will be?!!! I am so glad it is the weekend... time think about it!!! X
They look really really good Pam. The tall ship cushion is fantastic and so appropriate! xx

Blue and white cushions and roses. Ah, what could be better?
You can't imagine how much I enjoyed coming to your blog this morning. Your lovely comment about my crocheted shade brought me here and I feel like I have been on vacation in a rose garden. I have cousins in New Zealand, Perth, and in your neck of the woods - Noosa. Your photos make me feel like I need to make a push to get myself to Australia to visit them. If I could dream a little dream, I would love to live in cottage made up out of your fabric stash, when I awoke I could be surrounded by all your scented roses - heaven.
I will be adding you to my blog list for inspiration. Carolina
