The Vintage Ginger Pot That Almost Got Away...

The Camelias are blooming in the garden.

Really pleased with this thrift store find at Capalaba.
A gorgeous Sadler rose ginger pot.
A Camelia is laying inside the lid which also has beautiful roses on the top!

Two Royal Standard sideplates on two metres of unused and really bright rosey fabric.
I can see a cushion or two here.

I am finding thrift store and antique shopping with like-minded friends very inspiring.
Sometimes they see what I don't and I see what they don't.
Always look up and under in a thrift store.
It is a very polite business.

See what I found the previous time I went thrift store shopping with the fabulous Linda  from Lilly Cottage!
This time Linda found the ginger pot for me - I simply walked past it - I hate to admit that one!

I am still having blogging problems and unable comment on some blogs.
Able to leave comments on some blogs if the name/URL option is available.
I can log in to my dashboard now but not in to 'view' my blog and update any changes.
Followed all trouble shooting instructions and deleted browsing history and cleared the cookies.
So many others are experiencing the same problems.
Come on Blogger!

Have a wonderful day.
Hope you liked my new finds.

Pam x

It's all so pretty Pam! I'm sure I have a cup and saucer in that same pattern as your new/ old plates.
I was pondering making a new cushion with some flowery fabric too but I take so long working put my combinations that I give up before I start!

such pretty things! I didn't know about the broader problems with blogger the other day...couldn't log in a few times so changed my password & instantly all good. I might just change it back again at a later date. Just thought that I would mention in case it helps.

Sigh! such lovely things Pam :o) Your camelias are beautiful too, I lost every bud off mine in our very harsh winter, bet I'll remember to wrap it in fleece this year though.

I agree with Naturally Carol, unchecking the 'keep me signed in' box has saved my sanity!

Best wishes

Fantastic treasures! I never seem to be able to find beautiful fabric like you do. You must just have an eye for it.
I'm having the same problem with leaving comments. So frustrating.
