A White Winter Morning

The first day of winter and it is a wonderland of white in our front garden this morning.

We don't get snow in Brisbane, so this is the closest we will get to the 'white' look.
 I hope!
White roses, and in the background white bracts on the Snowflake tree.
After the wild hail storms in Tiaro yesterday (approx 220kms North of Brisbane), who knows what the weather will have in store for us this winter.

A cloudy morning this morning, so not the best for tying to capture enchanting images.

What a lovely back garden.

What's that tree that's starting to go orange?

Wow, you don't ever hear too much about tiny Tiaro (I grew up not too far from there, in Maryborough), I hope nobody was hurt. Your roses look splendid, by the way.

This is the type of winter white I prefer. Pretty but not cold! x

Brisbane got drifts of hail a couple of years ago didn't it? Your white roses are much nicer than all of that cold stuff!

Oh those roses are so pretty! I bought some bare rooted iceburgs on the weekend, but didn't get a chance to put them in yet! Hopefully next year I will have some white in winter to share with you!!!! X

Pam, your garden is really beautiful. I love white flowers in a garden, especially as when it's dusk they stand out.
The fog has been in three year old speak "a big cloud everywhere".

Hi Pam,

I am jealous of your beautiful roses, our garden is very quiet down here. Too many frosts.

what glorious rose bushes!! I haven't tried my hand at roses yet but I might over the next year - I just love when they're in full bloom like that.
