Vintage china and glassware is something I love to collect and it is definately an obsession.
Colclough, Royal Doulton, Aynsley, Coalport, Sadler, Royal Vale - love them all and more.
My first cup and saucer was a Christmas gift from my Nana many years ago. Yep! You guessed it, it is pleasantly adorned with roses and it now sits with pride in a safe corner.
Don't know why, but I love taking images of vintage china with gorgeous flowers. To me, they seem to compliment each other. You see a lot of it here on this little blog.

Your china collection is lovely! How sweet that you still have your first cup and saucer. I stray toward floral myself, the prettier and daintier, the better.
So, spring is almost upon you! How was your winter? Our days are getting shorter and there is that autumnal haze in the air...it's my favorite season after summer!

I love them too..but my favourites among those you've shown are the pink and green glassware..I just love the way the light shines through them!
Me too, can't resist any of it. Another lot came home yesterday and one of the pieces, a beautiful roses patterned cup and bread and butter plate missing it's saucer. But heh, I don't care, one will turn up sooner or later. It's an Old Foley. Enjoy your finds xx
