A Simple RED Hibiscus

A simple RED Hibiscus and a collection of gorgeous hearts would welcome you into my home if you came to visit today.

I picked these up the other day from a homeware store and they look fantastic on my antique flow blue dinner plate.

My absolute favourite Hibiscus is this one...
..a plain and simple RED.
I am very pleased
that my neighbours had the foresight to plant a Hibiscus,
as it seems to hang over the fence quite nicely,
thank you very much!

Thank goodness for kind neighbours.
Just wondering what yours are like?

Love those hearts, very welcoming too. I think I never saw a Hibiscus like that. It has really elegant flowers I'd say! Beautiful!
Bye,

My neighbors, which I'll be leaving in one week, are phenomenal. And I shall miss them immensely. I too love red hibiscus. I have one here, that isn't blooming now, that was giant and beautiful. It was called Texas hibiscus. Your vignette is charming!

Oh the love hearts are gorgeous and the plate sets them off.

I don't really know my neighbours as I am renting but in my own home. Just love my neighbours. I miss them! Mimi xx

What beautiful images! I love the hibiscus, we rarely see anyone growing it down here. And the cute hearts!
On one side our neighbours are very respectable and neat, he is public prosecutor and on the other side are a little family who have the messiest, most overgrown weedy garden you've ever seen in your life! I'd love to blog about them but Lyn won't let me :) I had to laugh when our messy neighbour suggested to Lyn that our neat pile of greenwaste was causing the mice in his backyard. Lyn said, "have you looked at your yard mate?" Oh dear! A bit embarrassing but very funny :)

Hi Pam..loving your stone art! My neighbours are a bit stand-offish but at least don't fight with us. The dogs of both families do sometimes have a bit of a go through the fences though...nevermind, I think that we are just different kinds of people.

Well we have 5 hibiscus bushes so we are very lucky as the neibour on one side bulldozed the lovely old cottage and garden, then built an awful modern one that you see everywhere now and paved the garden over with only 4 agaveas along one side in pots. yuk. The other side is attached to us and is in the process of being renovated by an investor who is going to make it identical to ours out the front. So we may get a little cottage garden like ours9hopefully) Love your red hibiscus because it is a single one. We only have two singles and they are white and orange variagated with yellow. Love your stones too. Makes a nice welcome to your home xx

I love those little rock hearts. So sweet and they look great on the blue dish with the pop of red from the hibiscus. Happy day to you. Tammy
