A Vintage Find and Flower Gathering.

Phew!
After a very busy week at work it was rather nice to be able to do a bit of vintage shopping and some flower gathering.

I have always missed out on these gorgeous 1930's silky oak  tea trolleys on Ebay. I have wanted one forever for the downstairs entrance. A trolley stalker no more!

My lucky find today in perfect condition and look at those wheels!

My climbing roses are in abundance and the sweet peas are still flowering.

I hope your Saturday is full of surprises and happy things.

I love the blue jug! I think a storm's coming. I've gotta get off the computer!

Hi Pam..the pink roses and the blue jug are classic, but I adore the colouring of the pink and red flowers on the trolley..just the right colouring against the wall too and it emphasises the lovely dark wood of the trolley.

Hi Pam, what a wonderful tea cart! I have a tea cart also, that we found at an antique store years ago. It is a little smaller and has an Italian marquetry design on top done in various colors of wood veneers. It sure comes in handy when we have guests. Your rose and sweet peas are breathtaking! Here where I live we are enjoying the first weeks of autumn. The air is deliciously cool and the leaves are beginning to turn. It has been a long, hot, and humid summer so I feel kind of like a kid again, running out with open arms, ready to welcome the new season. Have a wonderful weekend! Delisa :)

What a gorgeous tolley! I love that wood! The one I found recently had the same kind of casters but I wasn't as lucky with the wood, mine was a laminate.... so I painted it white and now you can't tell what it is..... what a lucky find, so pretty with those stunning blooms! Catch you soon! X
