Zinnia Love.

There is a very distinct
burst of pink in the garden at the moment.

As soon as
 the warmer weather approaches
 these buds begin
 to appear.

The Zinnias are out!

After a very busy couple of weeks, I am really enjoying the new blooms in the garden.

Love this hot pink Zinnia.

It's kinda funny, but I never really like the word 'zinnia' so I never really paid attention to the actual flower by that name.

Until now.... when you bring up so up close and right before my eyes.

Aren't they pretty little flowers!

I love the name Zinnia..it's a wonder there aren't girls named after this flower! They have such a distinct form and are a true '50's favourite from the flower garden. My mum has grown them year after year for as long as I can remember.
