Designer Tea Towels

When is a tea towel not a tea towel?
When it is too good to use, I'd say.

Our tea towels were well worn and looking a bit shabby, so.... it was time to replace them.
Looking for something different, something bright and fun, I came across All Tea Towels UK  designer linen and cotton tea towels. So many to choose from!
I was a very happy customer, especially when I discovered that a free towel was included in my package!

I chose plenty of florals and a gorgeous French inspired wine label cotton tea towel.

I have washed them.

 I have ironed them.

The problem is that they look far too pretty to use. I think I am just going to look at them for a while.

Would you use them?

I'm with you. I'd have to keep them nice for a while at least. I'd rather line a tray with them than use them to wipe something up. So beautiful.

They are very pretty! Yes, I love teatowels but have a real problem using the extra pretty ones. I tend to use them as a placemat for the middle of the table :)

You'll have to use them! They do all look too beautiful. I agree with you about that aspect of new tea-towels. They do look too precious for washing up.

Bite the bullet, Pam!

Have a delicious day!

Yes I would use them 'cos as you use them they grow soft and shabby and their colours fade a little and grow more beautiful. Maybe you could promise yourself a new teatowel every six months or so. That way you would have new ones coming on just as the old fade out!

I so agree I have such a hard time using pretty things and Oprah once did an entire show on this how people save things from wedding gifts to other things and then when they pass on they get sold in garage sales or they just become out of date.....I thought it was so interesting that other people struggle with this also, made me feel a little better! These towels though I know I could not wipe up a sticky mess with....much too lovely!

Yes I would have to look at them for awhile before I used them. They remind me of my Nana. Mimi xx
