Flowers, Craft and Liquorice Roses

Sunday!

A trip to the local flower farm was on the agenda today, but I didn't find what I was looking for in one of them so I had to go to all three farms. A terrible shame!  I think, in fact I know I came home with more flowers than I should have. A girl can never have too many flowers though... right?
The gerberas are just delightful.

I finished off a few more lavender pillows,  french inspired with a touch of vintage.

Then I caught up with a friend who is immersed into cake decorating. She created these liquorice roses for me. Made from soft Darrell Lea liquorice...strawberry and green apple flavours.

Nothing like a very cruisy Sunday sometimes.

the rose licorice is so sweet...and I'm so jealous of your flowers all though it has been 20 above and it feels soooo warm after our month of extreme cold!

Those gerberas are gorgeous and one of my favourite flowers. I love the colours they come in too, big bold and brassy. If I send flowers to anyone in hospital, it's always gerberas because they are so cheerful with those bright colours.
Enjoy!
