It was a tidy up kind of day in the garden for me today. The sun was shining and no rain all day for a change. Beautiful blue skies and new growth on the climbing roses as they jostle for their space on the gazebo.
There was a bit of weeding and trimming here and there!
My first discovery in the garden was the my little angel friend is now sporting a new hair colour. She is now a vibrant redhead!
My second discovery was a carpet of delicately beautiful native violets (Viola hederacea) under the patchwork of gardenia bushes and hibiscus. So beautiful to photograph.
That was most of my day in a nutshell...discovering.....enjoying the garden AND the sunshine.
Happy week.

Hi Pam, Sounds like a perfect day. Your garden is looking beautiful after the rain I am sure....did you get your sweet per in yet? xxx
Days in the garden are just the best sort of days. Love the redhead!

Hi Pam, I had a tidy up day in the garden too...although having only been in our new home for 6 weeks, nothing about the garden really says 'me' yet. At the moment it is more about hacking out what I hate, and daydreaming about how it will look..one day! I did pot a pink frangipani though, I just love them!

The beauty in the small things Pam.
Must have been a weekend for gardening. Your garden has such a variety of flowers. I adore the last shot with the vintage vase.
Sorry I've not been by for awhile, but I'm catching up slowly. I hope you're well Pam. x
Beautiful photographs!

Love your new shades of color in the garden....so pretty I can't wait to get outside.....
I what I would do for a rose arbour like yours Pam!
My roses are looking very straggly now and I can't wait to prune them in late May, however there are still many blooms to pick each day.
I love the soft fragrance of wild violets!
