Rosie Posies

Some of my lovely British friends from overseas are visiting Brisbane right now.  Lunch at my place was on the agenda today.
How to set the table?
No question really!
Plenty of rosey posies with my eclectic mix of vintage china.
I knew what I wanted so I began to play around with some cottagey settings for the table using my vintage china bits and pieces and delicate tiny roses from the markets this morning.

Then I had an unexpected visitor.
A sweet little butterfly that managed a very short stay. I am so glad my camera was already in position because usually I miss these curious little creatures. They flit around soooo fast. He was certainly the good omen for the day.

Lovely company, fab food and champers and stunning weather on a Sunday..and now I have lovely posies of roses to enjoy all week

Happy week ahead!
Pam x

So pretty! It's such fun to have friends over and make everything look nice and get out your best tablecloth and china.I think the butterfly wanted to join the party too...or maybe she thought the flowers were real! :0)
