Simple Sunday in the Garden

More picking of these beautiful mandarins. Lots of giving to neighbours and friends. Making loads of fresh juice. So lucky to have this tree in the backyard, especially when we can give them away. Such a good feeling.

Cherry tomatoes are prolific at this time of year - not too hot for them. So very sweet and juicy.

Masses of flowers on the jade tree at the front door.

We had to trim the rosemary bush today. Keep using it and it just keeps growing even more.

The jonquils are blooming. Such a sweet scent and ever so delightful to look at. Love the way they just pop up year after year.

Just wanted to share a few of the simple things happening in the garden at the moment.

Pam xx

Pam, you have such a productive garden. How nice to think you can source so many fruits and vegetables from your own doorstep. Jonquils are quite divine too. Handy to have a supply of flowers!

Fantastic when you can harvest such a bounty with such minimal effort...and have enough to give away!

Pam you've got an amazing garden if these pictures are anything to go by!!
We've just bought our first house and can finally have a garden (one of the things you can't do in a rental).

It's hard to know where to get started when you have such an empty canvas to work with!!!

I hope my garden one day produces such lovely gifts as yours.

How beautiful your garden must be.
I make a lovely cake from mandarins or oranges. I must post the recipe.
Your jonquils are so beautiful,I only have the single blooms. They are still pretty, but your doubles are lovely. xx

You have so much happening in your garden at the moment. It is so interesrting to me that we are all in Aus but our veg grow at different times. It will be a few more months before our tomatoes will even think about growing. I agree, it's lovely to be able to give away produce :)

It has made me smile to see your exotic equivalent to the apples I see put outside the cottages in Bradford-on-Avon. It is indeed a simple pleasure to give things away, and even more so when we are able to leave a chair or table outside without fear of it being taken.
