I dropped in to see Thea about two weeks ago at her studio and her new studio shop was well underway.
There was a lot of sorting, painting and assembling going on.
It is all up and running now.
It is all up and running now.
Anyway, I came home with some of her natural Flax Linen that I wanted to sew.
But, first of all I had to take some images of this beautiful and so very natural fabric that just loves lavender and handmade soap.
I bought this small heart shaped pan in a small homewares store in Montmartre, Paris.
I have never used it.
It's one of those things that I just love to look at.
Too sentimental?
It brings back sweet memories of Paris and makes me think of when I will get to visit there again.
After using some of the linen I realised that I could not part with any of the left over bits.
I love the feel of it and it is just gorgeous to sew.
Why not take a close-up of the bits?
A simple natural linen bag for natural handmade lavender soap.
Don't forget Thea is hosting a morning tea as part of Australia's Biggest Morning Tea for Cancer Research at her new studio shop. See here for details.

Lavendar... one of my all-time favorite fragrances, ever since I was a wee scrap of a girl!
You take lovely photos of beautiful things.
Lovely Post!
Love your photos, love that linen, love your soap, love those cute little soap bags, love that pan (a little jealous of where you got it from), love the lavender...just love this post! ( am still sucking on Lavender lollies from Nardoo...have to hide them from number one daughter though!)
Have a truly wonderful day.

Just beautiful and just the inspiration I needed. Have a beautiful Thursday xx
Lavendar and Paris are inextricably linked in my memory. I love what you've done with your beautiful linen. And there's no such thing as too sentimental is there:)
Oh they are so beautiful with all the little embellishments added. I love linen too,it's such a forgiving fabric and that colour is just lovely. That love heart pan is a gem too. x
Lavender...is there anything better? Love your photos!

All the things I love here Pam: linen, lavender, your lovely soap. Thanks for spreading the word about my Morning Tea too. See you then! xx
I hope you still have some soap left in your shop next week when I can do more than window shop! I love the stamping on the soap too, it goes without saying that the bags are just adorable.
Pam your soap bags, description and photos are excellent. I'm smelling lavender (which I love) from here!
So lovely to have a reminder of our travels. I miss travelling with small children, although I'm loving them of course, I do one day look forward to returning to travelling. Without needing a hundred wee and snack stops.
PS - Thea's fabric is gorgeous. You're definitely doing amazing things with it!
Wonderful photos, was so enjoyable looking through them. :)

Hello dear, I popped in yesterday... but I couldn't comment! So I am back today! Your pictures have made my heart sing as usual! Gorgeous images! Those shabby fabric scraps are too pretty, and so is that pan!!! I wish I could come to morning tea! X
Just beautiful! What is it about scraps I wonder? I find I can't part with mine either! I think they make cool little ties instead of ribbon. :)
