Oh for a Birthday Cake...

I cannot believe my youngest turns eighteen at the end of the week. Anyway, as I was searching for ideas for a birthday cake I came across these images. What a shame, I think I have run out of time to make one. When you see these amazing creations you will know what I mean!

I know she would love the colours on this one....

She is definately a shopper with expensive taste so I know she would love this....

Her social networking and research skills have been aided by a laptop for some time now so she would probably think this cake was awesome!

I doubt very much if she would appreciate a sewing machine cake. Isn't it amazing and it is all edible, as is the laptop cake.

It may be a little late but there is an amazing girl with a little shop at Morningside that does beautiful novelty cakes. She made a conga drum for Voyt a few years ago. She doesn't have a website yet but you can find her details here: http://www.ourbrisbane.com/businesses/610646.cherry-on-top-cake-design
