Magnolias for Monday...

Just caught the tail end of the Magnolia season in Auckland last week. These spectacular blooms were everywhere! I love the way they maintain their attractive colour right to the end of their blooming season.

Don't seem to see any around in my neighbourhood. That's probably why I was rather taken by their stunning presence in many, many gardens and on the pavements in the city.

They certainly are a stiking flower. I'd not seen them before we moved to Melbourne from Brissy earlier this year. They're everywhere down here.

So very pretty, I missed these when I was in Auckland a couple of months ago so you're lucky indeed to have caught them.

Thanks so much for your lovely comments on my home today Pam, it means a lot. You never really know what people think of your taste and they are some very clued in bloggers out there! :-)

Hope you have a restful weekend and your week is off to a great start!

I never seen a magnolia tree before... I don`t think!
They are absolutely beautiful!
I love the flowers shape and the pink colour too!
By the way, thank you so much for your sweet comment!
Yes, you are right!
I LOVE CHINA! Bone China...
I used to sell vintage treasures and china were my best sellers!
I`m glad that you like my now painted white cabinets... I love brown furniture, but always felt that my living room, was looking to dark and needed a must needed change...
Hope to share some lovely photos soon!
Kind regards,
