Escaping to the Beach

A spur of the moment decision to escape to the beach for a few days lead us to the Northern New South Wales Coast. Not the most brilliant weather for the beach but we are making the most of it and enjoying the very lush rainforest in the hinterland, and exploring the gorgeous towns of Yuki, Mullumbimby and Murwillumbah.

Surf Lifesaver Caps hanging in Kingscliffe Surf Club

Blogging from the beach at Kingscliff this morning, I received a really nice email from my lovely NZ blogging friend Shane from Roses Lace and Brocante thanking me for my soaps that she ordered from my Madeit store.

Shane has a lovely blog, a lover of all things French and has family living in France. She is also a very creative in her crafty pursuits. I have been following her blog for a while now you, can check it out  here

Thanks Shane, for being my first customer to order my soap. It is exciting to think that my soap has been sent to a customer in Auckland all through the power of blogging.

Oh Pam, the beach shot with the tree is a postcard. What a beautiful photo! I'm off to the beach for 5 days camping - leaving tomorrow, so hopefully the sun keeps shining like it is so gloriously this morning. Enjoy your break. Sounds like fun. Love exploring new places. Sonia x

Hi Pam,

It was lovely to discover your beautiful blog, via Shane.
You live in a beautiful part of the world, we have had two wonderful holidays at Surfers.
The beach looks so beautiful and like the line up of surf lifesaver caps.

Happy Thursday

Dear Pam

Enjoy your holiday on the coast!
I know it well as we lived at Southport for a year and discovered the beauty of the area at weekends.
I could do with some of the coast weather right now as Auckland is freezing and windy...

Thank you so much for your nice comnments and mentioning my blog.
You really are the nicest blog friend one could wish for!

Still smelling delicious fragrance from your yummy soaps and one is winging it's way to France for my darlings 7th birthday!! Voila

hugs
