My Sunday so far has consisted of an early morning at Chandler Markets, and cleaning out the garage! I did come across these vintage inspired French postcards I had tucked away and forgotten about though. Aren't they delightful?
I love the second one in particular as it reminds me of my sister-in-law who loves to clean. She has been known to confess on one occasion, after a couple of wines, that 'she is at her happiest whilst cleaning.'
When I am cleaning, I certainly don't have the happy vibes going on like the young lady in the second postcard. Maybe a heart shaped mop like hers may make the difference!
How about you?

Hi Pam, just discovered your blog :) Lovely french postcards. I must confess when it comes to cleaning, I am happier when someone else is doing it on my behalf! Have a lovely Sunday, Lisa
The postcards are lovely- what a find:). Lol I certainly am not at my happiest when cleaning. Too many other wonderful and creative things to be doing in life. Have a lovely Sunday:)
Well it depends on the task. I do like a clean house and order, and feel more relaxed that way. That said, I like to stack/un-stack a dishwasher, and don't like dishes. Since I've had kids I feel like I'm in perpetual cleaning motion just to keep it looking clean and tidy. I noticed cobwebs the other day, and there's a tonne of jobs that don't get a look in. They do say if you can't meditate you should clean, and there's also the adage that the best cure for melancholy is industry. x :)
My husband is happiest when I am cleaning. I am certainly not. LOL
lovely postcards. Moulin Rouge has a very special meaning to me and i have a beautiful metal wall picture of it in my bathroom. I became friends with an elderly lady she became like a second mum to me and a second gran to my boys. We used to visit the theatre together, and talk about fashion, she was such a huge part of my life, one day she bought the film Moulin rouge and we watched it together on more than 1 occasion. she was such a beautiful lady and very elegant, she sadly passed away 4 years ago at the age of 86, so when i see it it reminds me of my beautiful friend Betty.
