Trying to make these gorgeous roses last at home as long as I can.
Using my vintage china more and more these days.
Not much is stashed away in the china cabinets any more.
A stunning winter day in Brisbane so far, a bit chilly with clear blue skies.

Georeous roses Pam. I can understand why you are trying to make them last as long as possilbe. It's so nice to use our vintage china on a daily basis. I try to, but some things are so precious (inherited pieces from my Grandma, Granny and an aunty), I'm scared in case they get broken.
We are having a lovely winter day down here too. It's cold but the sky is blue.
Have a lovely day,
Anne xx
Hi Pam, the roses go so well with your vintage china. Roses are amazing the way they end up a bit mummified in the cold weather.
China and roses equally gorgeous.
Hi Pam, aren't they more beautiful than before? I love them with a bit of age, so pretty. T x
I love your china bits. The roses are lovely too!
Looking very pretty. Chilly here too and we're only just getting started!
lOvely china and yes why not use it and who can resist gorgeous roses to showcase it. Very chilly here too but the sun is shining through my sewing room window and warming me. Enjoy your day x J
Pam,
The roses are lovely, even with their edges brown and curled! They look wonderful in your gorgeous china. We are just starting our summer here and it's been in the high 90's every day! Any more we seem to go straight from winter to summer, with very little spring in between!

Lovely china Pam, i have to say i always dry my roses to and have then scattered in vintage vases all over the house some of them are years old now ;-)) But they look so pretty even if they don't smell any more, have a lovely day, dee x
Very sweet roses! I can't ever waste them when I get some.....they must be saved. I think they are just as beautiful dried and placed around the house!
Chris :o)
So beautiful! In fact, too beautiful to throw away. The roses look perfect in the china you have chosen :)
Gorgeous images Pam! I keep my roses too.... in fact I have jars of different coloured dried rose heads! I can't bear to throw them away..... I will use them for something!
Your china is so pretty! X
These are so lovely......I could frame and hang these images straight to one of my walls!
It was chilly here as well last night. We are in our rainy season, so that's probably why. Don't these type of days make you want to stay home and cuddle?!
enjoy your day!
They're still beautiful, as are the way you've displayed them. Good to hear you've got your special pieces on display. Life's too short, so why not?!
Hey Pam, they look very beautiful, fab photos as always. Thanks for your email. Sorry I have been slack, a combination of the flu, work and too many children ha...plus a holiday ha. Hope you have a lovely weekend, xx Katherine
They are lovely flowers and worth savoring every last minute of their bloom
