Gerberas are the flower of the week in our home - for this week.
Did you know that they are part of the sunflower family?
When you look at them it is a bit obvious isn't it?
I need to learn more about our beautiful flowers, so next week I will be starting a weekly A-Z post on our local flowers grown in Brisbane.
Flowers that either I have grown, or my friends have grown and they have suited our climate.
How about that for a challenge?
Hoping to show you fab photos and find interesting facts and information.
Have an extra-ordinary day today.
Pam x

Hey great idea Pam, looking forward to it! Beautiful gerberas too :)
Great. I have 2 empty flower beds out the front that desperately need flowers. I will definately be watching what I can plant.
Thanks

Beautiful flowers and gorgeous images. Aren't they so cheery! I have a dark pink gerbera flowing out in the backyard at the moment. I'm not sure how it's surviving the cold!
